The site at the onset of the contract was mainly a grassed landscaped churchyard intersected by footpaths.
The new works comprised the complete restoration of the existing churchyard and public park. This included the removal of the existing earth mounds, construction of new footpaths and plaza areas, installation of new play equipment, lighting and street furniture, the restoration of the listed boundary railings and soft landscaping.
The project is a 2008 BALI award winner.
