The works comprised the construction of new and refurbishment of existing paths, the paths were surfaced with a Coxwell self-binding gravel. The construction and refurbishment of metal gates and railings. Installation of new seats and litter bins. Soft landscaping comprised of topsoiling, tree and shrub planting.
The old Abbey foundations were marked by laying yorkstone setts.
As the site is a Scheduled Ancient Monument, all works that required excavation were supervised by Archaeologist.
