Blakedown have recently completed then new Heron Quay Park for Canary Wharf Contractors.
The project saw a former demolition site transformed into a new public open space and arts demonstration areas.
The works included importing over 60 mature trees, 400 metres of instant hedging, new footpaths, a full automatic irrigation system, fencing, resin bound surfacing, extensive shrub planting, turfing, bespoke lighting and anti-slip decking.
The high impact mature scheme was designed by Townshend Landscape Architects.
The works were on a tight programme in order to be open for the Olympics, despite the unseasonal heavy rain Blakedown completed the project to a very high standard.
Blakedown have recently been asked to return to complete a new entranceway in bespoke Granite Trief kerbs which is due to start imminently.
