Blakedown Sport and Play have been successful in winning their first contracts in Scotland. Moray Council have commissioned Blakedown Sport and Play for the construction of two synthetic football pitches.

The two projects are based in two separate school; Speyside High School and Buckie Community High School, and are both having full size 3rd generation football pitches installed. Both facilities will be floodlit with separate spectator areas, and fenced with a twin bar of 3.0m and 4.5m high systems.

The works started in July with completion planned for November. Despite adverse weather conditions progress is good and both contracts are on schedule.

Paul Kenyon, Blakedown Sport and Play.s Estimating Director, said .it.s a pleasure to be working in such a great area of the country, we are enjoying the challenge..

Feedback from the community has been great and both facilities are eagerly awaited by local league and amateur teams.
