Blakedown Landscapes Announced as Platinum Supporter of Perennial Charity

Blakedown Landscapes is thrilled to announce its newly formed partnership with Perennial, as a platinum supporter. With a shared commitment to the well-being and support of individuals working within the horticulture sector, this collaboration signifies Blakedown’s dedication to giving back and making a positive impact within the industry.

Perennial is the UK’s only charity helping everyone in horticulture and landscaping to live better lives. They offer one-to-one support, advice and guidance which enables people within or retired from our industry to take control of their lives physically, mentally and financially. A better quality of life is achievable to all those involved in horticulture and landscaping through Perennial's dedicated work.

Established 185 years ago, Perennial remains as essential as ever, especially in light of the ongoing economic downturn and the many social and financial obstacles faced by professionals and retirees in the landscape industry today. In its mission to improve lives, the charity provided over 31,000 preventative activities and services last year, and personally supported over 2,000 individuals and families, which significantly improved their quality of life.

Chris Wellbelove, Director, Blakedown Landscapes said “the partnership with Perennial is a significant milestone for us.  We have always believed in the importance of supporting individuals in our industry and this collaboration allows us to do just that.  2023 saw a steep increase in the number of individuals seeking the charity’s assistance and we are committed to leveraging our resources to help Perennial thrive in their mission.”

Jamie Gault, Perennial's Chief Executive, comments, "We are delighted to have Blakedown Landscapes join the Perennial Partnership Programme as a Platinum Partner.  No one organisation can improve outcomes for the individuals it supports in isolation, and it is with the valuable support of companies such as Blakedown Landscapes that help Perennial expand our reach and impact."
