Blakedown Landscapes to Deliver £1.5 million 'Green Heart' Project

We are delighted to announce that Reigate & Banstead Borough Council has selected Blakedown Landscapes as main contractor for the refurbishment of Merstham Recreation Ground.

Plans for the £1.5m improvement project include recreational spaces and improved access to nature, while being accessible to the whole community. The scheme will also see the delivery of new footpaths, urban furniture, a new pavilion and play area, a young centric area, outdoor gym and new planting.

Enhancements to the site’s biodiversity and natural environment will have a sharp focus to encapsulate the new communal amenities in a ‘green heart’ for the community.
