Blakedown Wins Two BALI National Landscape Awards

Blakedown Landscapes is delighted to announce that we have been recognised with two BALI National Landscape Awards in 2025.

Our winning projects are:

  • The Paddock, Chatham – Hard Landscaping Construction, Over £500,000

  • Mediterranean Garden, Beningbrough Hall – Hard Landscaping Construction, Under £500,000

The Awards are the UK’s largest and most prestigious landscape awards, celebrating the very best in innovation, craftsmanship and excellence across the industry.

We are incredibly proud of our teams for their skill, dedication and attention to detail, and we are pleased to share this recognition with our clients and design partners, whose collaboration and vision have been central to the success of both schemes.

The Paddock - This £1.5m regeneration has reshaped a fragmented civic space in Chatham into a resilient and accessible public realm. Defined by robust granite detailing, engraved slabs and a new amphitheatre, the project has established a strong civic identity and created a welcoming heart for the town.

Mediterranean Garden – Beningbrough Hall - Part of a long-term programme to enhance the gardens at Beningbrough, the Mediterranean Garden has introduced stone walls, water features, paths and level changes to create a distinctive new visitor space. Designed by Andy Sturgeon for the National Trust, the scheme provides the framework for future planting and long-term use.

The 2025 BALI National Landscape Awards ceremony will take place on Friday 5 December at Grosvenor House, London, when the Principal and Grand Awards will also be revealed.
