Blakedown Appointed to Fusion21's £85 Million Grounds Maintenance Framework
Blakedown Landscapes has been appointed to Fusion21's £85 million UK-wide Grounds Maintenance Framework following a competitive procurement process.
The framework provides public sector organisations with access to trusted providers of grounds maintenance, landscaping and outdoor space services across the UK. Available to housing providers, local authorities, education, blue light and NHS organisations, it offers a compliant route to market for the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor environments.
The appointment reflects Blakedown's proven capability in maintaining landscapes, from the aftercare of newly completed schemes through to dedicated grounds maintenance contracts across a range of environments.
Through the framework, Blakedown will support public sector organisations in maintaining high quality outdoor environments across a diverse range of settings.
Russell Gates, Framework Manager at Fusion21, said:
"We are delighted to welcome all of the new suppliers onto Fusion21's Grounds Maintenance Framework, including Blakedown Landscapes. The tender process was highly competitive and has identified the best suppliers to help our members maintain and improve a diverse range of outdoor spaces.
"Members accessing this framework will benefit from the expertise of our technical procurement specialists, alongside flexible call-off options that support the delivery of social value and environmental improvements, creating a visible impact on communities."
Chris Wellbelove, Managing Director of Blakedown Landscapes, said:
"We are pleased to have been appointed to Fusion21's Grounds Maintenance Framework.
Maintaining outdoor spaces is just as important as creating them. Through this framework, we look forward to helping Fusion21 members protect and enhance the landscapes they have invested in, while continuing to deliver the quality, expertise and reliability that our clients expect from Blakedown.”
The fourth iteration of the framework is valued at £85 million and provides regional and national coverage for grounds maintenance, landscaping and outdoor space services. Services include routine and seasonal maintenance, hard and soft landscaping, tree works, fencing, and hedge and shrub maintenance.
